The EDIT Act - PASSED Emendation of Documents Incorrectly Transcribed Act
Section I Subsection I The executive, or any other designated official, is hereby granted power to rectify errors found in codified law Subsection II An error is defined as either a typographical mistake, a clause that has been effectively nullified by more recent or higher law, or a clause inserted into the law that defied the intent of its authors Subsection III The executive must list all edits made to legislation Section II Subsection I The Constitution is still subject to amendment by the process outlined in Article IV of the Constitution of Libertatem Section III Subsection I The Board may reverse an edit made by the executive by a simple majority vote Subsection II Alternatively, the Department of Justice or House of Representatives may strike down an edit as unconstitutional
